<p>: Melamchi – Phase 2 in focus: ADB inspects vital infra Kathmandu, September 13, 2017 A review mission of the PPTA inspected different components of the Melamchi Water Supply Project on September 12, 2017. ADB NRM officials, accompanied by PPTA consultants and PID consultants, visited a number of places along the alignment of proposed Second Transmission Main (BDS-05) meant to supply 340 million litres of water per day to the Kathmandu Valley from Yangri and Larke rivers, increasing further the capacity of MWSP – Phase 1 (170 MLD). The team visited vital components of the project, including Chuchhepati Bifurcation Point, Gokarna Junction, Kolmati Junction and Sundarijal Water Treatment Plant.</p>
